Cancellation & Refund Policy

Simple, written slabs — no hidden charges. Part of our Terms of Service. Effective 6 Oct 2026.

1. Free site survey

Surveys are free in our service areas and carry no cancellation fee. If you cancel the survey slot, just inform us 3+ hours early so the engineer’s visit can be reassigned.

2. Installation bookings (advance paid)

After dispatch but before installation dayRefund minus actual transport/material-handling (billed at actuals, max 5% of order).
On/after installation (work done)No cancellation; covered by warranties + AMC SLA. Manufacturing defects handled via OEM replacement.

Refunds go to the original payment mode within 7 working days of written confirmation (email/WhatsApp). Subsidy/DBT, once credited by Government, is between you and the authorities and is not routed through us.

3. Cleaning / repair visits

  • Visit charge (₹299) is adjusted in full if you approve the quoted work the same day; otherwise it covers diagnosis + report.
  • Cancel/reschedule free up to 3 hours before the slot; later than that, one paid visit is counted under AMC or ₹299 applies.
  • If our technician cannot attend a confirmed slot, the visit charge is waived and priority rescheduling is offered.

4. AMC (Annual Maintenance)

  • 7-day cooling-off: full refund if no service visit has been done.
  • After services begin: pro-rata refund = AMC fee − (completed scheduled services × per-service rate in plan) − spares used. Unlimited-breakdown promise ends on cancellation.
  • Generation-guarantee plans (if signed) are settled as per that annexure.

5. How to request

WhatsApp/call +91-98765-43210 or email info@solarpanelservice.in with your name, mobile, booking date & UPI/bank details for refund. We confirm in writing within 2 working days and refund within 7 working days. Escalation: Contact Us page / Grievance: info@solarpanelservice.in (subject “Refund – [mobile number]”).

6. Non-refundable items

DISCOM/statutory fees paid to authorities on your behalf (receipted), expended consumables/spares, and bank/UPI gateway charges (if any) are not refundable. Chargebacks without contacting us first delay resolution — please talk to us; we honour the slabs above.
